AOL is seeking an experienced Analyst who will be an integral part of the Sales Operations team and act as the financial adviser to internal and external clients on national online advertising sales. The Analyst must gain an understanding of the Aol. Advertising Accounting policies, Advertising Sales Organization and Properties, and be able to articulate them to the organization. This position will require the individual to work with several different departments and all levels of personnel.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Forecasting advertising revenue
Evaluating and determining appropriate revenue forecast for complex multi-component deals.
Work with senior management on annual planning, budgeting, and strategy.
Develop strong working relationships with key business partners to drive effective decision-making.
Assist with annual target setting, goal transfers and quarter end sales compensation process.
Interface with other groups, including accounting and legal, to facilitate sales transactions.
Provide ad hoc business analysis for sales teams.
Requirements:
Highly motivated, detail oriented, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, ability to work independently, ability to meet organizational objectives and deadlines, ability to work in a team environment.
Good Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills as well as experience in dealing with Senior Executives in a one on one fashion.
Advanced skill set with Microsoft Office with a high degree of proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Monthly travel required.
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics preferred.
Years of Experience: 2 plus years, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Sales Operations, or Business experience a plus.
