Job description The iPhone group is a growing, results-oriented team looking for a bright, energetic Jr. Engineering Program Manager to drive future development of exciting Apple products.
Jr. EPMs are responsible for assisting in all aspects of the development of new products across large project teams. They will work with the Engineering Team Lead and HW EPM to coordinate including suppliers and manufacturing OEMs. A strong candidate will have solid problem solving skills, analytical thinker, and ability to drive issues to resolution. This Jr. EPM should have an engineering background, 1-2 years experience in managing electrical and/or mechanical design of consumer products and good knowledge off-shore manufacturing.
The Jr. EPM will be responsible for:
Project managing board releases and development issues
Supporting ETL & HW EPM on various duties
Managing communication within the development team, OEMs, supplier, and operations
Travel to support manufacturing builds
The Jr. EPM should have past experience managing or participating in:
Planning and scheduling of rapid development products
PCB releases
Integration of industrial, mechanical, electrical, and software components
Testing and debug efforts
Off-shore manufacturing of consumer electronics products
Required Experience:
BS EE/CE/ME degree or equivalent
1-3 years of relevant industry experience
Strong technical background (prefer an engineer who wants to move into project management)
Successful organizational, communication, and people skills
Demonstrated ability to navigate through constant changes
Willingness and ability to travel internationally
