Job description The Internet Services Engineering Group is responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining all systems related to Internet Services. The majority of systems are OSX based XServe as well as a significant number of SOLARIS 10 based SUN servers. The applications running on those servers are a mix of standard software packages as well as "home grown" applications. Internet Services is looking for an experienced SA looking for a challenge in a cutting edge environment.
Required Experience:
- at least 3-7 years in UNIX system administration in a large environment (50+ servers).
- strong background in OSX/BSD, SOLARIS, LINUX and networking
- Familiarity with the following tools: Apache, sendmail, DNS, ssh.
- VMware, Solaris Zone's or other virtualization tools
Preferred Experience:
- Nagios
- ORACLE
- Network Appliance, NetScalar
- SAN, NAS
- UNIX related software development
- SUNOne Messaging and SUNOne directory services (formerly known as Netscape or iPlanet)
- Veritas
