Job description Job Purpose:
Drive sales and marketing actions through named partners where job holder is sole Apple contact
Job holder is likely to have a long list of small & medium named partners but may also have a few named large partners with a designated Account Exec and will need to work in partnership with the Account Exec on those partners to ensure that the business objectives are met
Key Accountabilities:
Act as first point of contact to client in new product launches
ensure client has all relevant product information
ensure client understands distribution structure, pricing structure etc
ensure information about availability schedules etc is available
ensure adequate initial orders are placed on time to secure adequate supply for customer(s)
Work with local BDMs to relay segment programs and solutions to named partners for effective execution to drive sell out
Escalate issues to the sales manager for help in resolving partner issues and opportunities and engage the local BDMs if issues arise around segment expertise. For those partners with a named Acc Exec, work with Acc Execs to resolve all such issues and opportunities
Sales analysis of data provided by business support sell thru, inventory reports, billings/bookings/backlogs - to ensure that the information is utilized effectively with the named partners to maximize sell-in and minimize risk to the business, and assist Acc Execs from time to time if appropriate
Ensure orders are placed regularly and in sufficient quantity by named partners to achieve sales targets
Product communication of price lists, product information, ranging information etc, to named partners
Administration
ensure all adequate information is available in a timely fashion to manage the MDF or Opex budgets processes appropriately
ensure adequate info is available in a timely fashion to manage any contractual claims under your management e.g CRT
Maintain database of all contacts within the accounts across all areas of influence (in-take, inventory, points of sale, finance) via GMACC
plan, execute and review agreed account plans with dedicated key partners by region to develop Apple business with the key partners
