At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Regional PEMCO Sales Engineer .
Position Summary:
The Regional PEMCO Sales Engineer supports sales teams with product presentation, technical product support, sales opportunity identification, and technical design assistance. Work with field sales to provide technical support for customers and to develop strategies and tactics to increase PEMCO designs, revenue and profit. Influence manufacturers and reps to partner with Arrow in support of PEMCO revenue generation at accounts and in overall territory. Provide technical training to Arrow sales teams.



Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.



* Build influential relationships with strategic suppliers within the PEMCO technologies throughout the geography. Serve as liaison between the supplier technical resources and local Arrow sales team, providing technical assistance, opportunity identification, tracking and closure.




* Servicing the customer: Proactively troubleshoots a customers need and then researches to find the best technical solutions within the PEMCO technologies. Is strategic in approach and searches all angles to win the opportunity.



* Communication: Is proactive in communicating between customers, field sales and manufacturers. Communicates well with management. Ability to track and complete the weekly activity and opportunity log.



* Technical interaction with the sales team: Proactively trains the sales team on the PEMCO Technologies through presentations and during one-on-one buddy calls. Teaches them how to identify opportunities.



* Execute strategic sales plans for the region/PEMCO market.



* Relationships: Has exceptional influential relationships with the sales teams, manufacturers and reps to support Arrow's PEMCO revenue generation. Understands the importance of an influential relationship.



* Collect and leverage competitive landscape. In-depth knowledge and understanding of their customer base and supplier intelligence. Utilize information for your respective markets.




* Collect and leverage competitive products and marketing activities. Make recommendations for strategic inventory.


Qualifications:


* 3-5 years strategic sales experience. Knowledge of the PEMCO market and technologies a plus.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
* Engineering or Technical degree preferred but not required.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
* Exceptional influencing and relationship building skills to gain results.
* Time and project management skills.
* Influence and motivate internal employees to focus on product line.
* Ability to develop innovative solutions, quick timely decision making.
* Expert in technical/subject area requiring in-depth knowledge an understanding within one subject or related subjects.
* Analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations. Job covers a wide range of activities that require complex judgments and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought. May provide extensive research to develop innovative solutions.
* Proficient in MS office software programs.
* Ability to influence indirectly and drive results with and without direct supervisory responsibility.
* Travel within territory - 70%
