Technical Job Responsibilities:
Perform top-side and bottom-side services on a car, such as:
*
lubcricating suspension and driveline fittings
*
draining the oil from the vehicle
*
replacing the oil filter
*
checking the rear differential, transfer case, manual transmission and front differential/transaxle
*
checking and filling fluids under the hood
*
pulling out and replacing air filters, batteries and windshield wipers
*
checking tire pressure
Performing additional preventive car maintenance services, such as:
*
transmission fluid exchange
*
coolant exchange
*
fuel system cleaning
*
gearbox fluid exchange
*
tire rotation
*
A/C recharge
Communicate verbally and visually with other employees to ensure all services have been performed correctly and that all caps, covers, plugs and parts are reinstalled properly.
Managerial Job Responsibilities:
Assist the SCM in building a high performance team.

Assisting in interviews and new hire selection
*
Training other team members
*
Enforcing company policy and procedure
*
Scheduling
Ensure all customers are taken care of in a prompt, polite and professional manner

Greet customers promptly

Present and explain recommendations

Handle any complaints or service failures
Manage the service center assets:

Monitoring daily reports
*
Delivering deposits to the bank

Inventory control
*
Working with vendors

Opening and closing the service center
Maintain the service center, such as:

cleaning the customer waiting area
*
cleaning the rest rooms and stocking supplies
*
keeping the counters and desk area neat and well organized
Job Requirements:
* Must have managed direct reports, preferably in a retail service environment
* Must have a positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
* Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment and demonstrate a high sence of urgency/energy
* Must possess the desire and ability to learn, as well as demonstrate personal responsibility
* Must have the ability to successfully identify, develop and lead people
* Must demonstrate a drive for results and possess an ownership mentality, as well as have the ability to successfully solve problems and make decision.
