Perform professional work commensurable with level of classes completed. Freshmen and Sophomores accepted into position will learn multiple processes in the construction of vehicles by participating in those processes via hands-on work alongside mechanics and technicians. As students become more experienced in the classroom, job assignments will change to reflect their increased engineering knowledge.
Learn and participate in BAE Systems manufacturing, design, ECP, prototyping, and requisitioning processes as an Engineering Apprentice.
Entry level Engineering position involving Vehicle design, CAD (Pro/E) Drawing, and Orgaization of computer files. Responsibilities will include: Perform ECR preparation, review technical drawings, coordinate prototype part design and requisitioning, and perform inspection result review.
Student must be currently enrolled in an Engineering program at an accredited and recognized college or university (within College of Engineering).
Minimum GPA of 2.5.
