BAE Systems, Advanced Information Technologies, is looking for an Analytic Technologist who is interested in "thinking outside of the box" and working to make advanced research capabilities and concepts operational. Qualified candidates must have both a strong analytic and a strong technological background. The qualified candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between analytic problems and technological solutions. The position requires analysis, data manipulation and programming within a highly complex computing environment using a wide range of tools and technologies. The individual should expect to participate in teams that will develop innovative solutions to Intelligence Hard problems. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Qualified candidates must have the following:
U. S. Citizenship is required
Active TS/SCI government security clearance with Full-Lifestyle Polygraph required
BS or MS degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mathematics, or related technical field
3-5 years of experience in software development required
Ability to communicate analytic and technical concepts effectively and clearly with members of the project
Ability to break down analytic problems into answerable questions that can be solved through computer processes
Ability to do hands-on computer analysis including data identification, data ETL, data manipulation, data analysis and presentation of results
Programming experience with: SQL, Python or PERL, Java Experience with other languages such as C++, C# or Smalltalk preferred
