Job Description:
**Note THIS POSITION IS POSTED IN ANTICIPATION OF FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES FOR WHICH WE WELCOME YOUR RESUME SUBMISSION. BAE Systems is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Engineering Team to propose on future program support opportunities with Marine Corps Systems Command. The ideal candidate would demonstrate in their resume submission experience performing ANY OR ALL of the following comprehensive system engineering services and support:
- Development and review of requirements traceability matrices;
- Development of functional flow block diagrams;
- Development of use case diagrams and text;
- Conducting analysis of form, fit, and function impacts;
- Development and review of engineering schedules;
- Interface management;
- Coordination of engineering team activities;
- Coordination with interfacing programs and other Services on a technical level;
- Coordination with HQMC and MCCDC on JCIDS documentation development;
- Configuration management and quality control;
- Analyzing Engineering Change Proposals (ECP);
- Developing Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) on behalf of the Government;
- Reviewing, developing, and updating interface control requirements/documentation;
- Analyzing sufficiency of contractor developmental testing;
- Analyzing results of developmental testing;
- Developing Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), PESHE, RTM documentation.
- Developing Statements of Work;
- Developing System Design Specifications/Performance Specifications;
- Analysis, identification, assessment, and mitigation of engineering risks.
Must have the following:
- Masters Degree & 2 years related experience or Bachelors Degree & 4 years related experience
****Note...This related experience must be in any or all of the system engineering services listed.
- Ability to acquire a DoD security clearance
Preferences:
- Active US DoD security clearance
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting test data to verify system performance
- Experience tracking cost, schedule, and performance risks
- DAWIA or PMP certifications
- CAD experience
