Description:
The Business Development Rep is responsible for the following:
- Generating new income and meeting income targets at assigned center.
- Generating new leads for assigned centers, negotiates deals, and maintains accounts.
- Canvassing the region to find and develop new retail concepts for the center.
- Keeps abreast of competitive Specialty Leasing trends industry/region areas and the areas of the center.
- Clearly communicates all deals and leasing activity with the General Manager and Group Vice President of Business Development.
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Must be a self starter with strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understand the specialty leasing process and rent structure.
- National, regional, local retailer relationships preferred.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Management experience a plus.
- Experience in marketing or accounting preferred.
- Formal presentation/speaking skills experience.
- The candidate must possess a positive, professional approach with a strong emphasis on excellent customer satisfaction and a desire to contribute to a successful team.
