PROGRAM MANAGER III JOB DESCRIPTION
As our Program Manager III you will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of the Navigation Systems programs. You will participate in the preparation of proposals, preparation of Business and Program plans, be responsible for the profit/loss of assigned programs. Act as primary customer contact for program activities, as well as chair the programs Integrated Program Team. Assure customer performance commitments are met and program assets are effectively managed.
The process shall include effectively working with the IPTs to develop plans of execution and statements of problems, as they arise, with identification of alternatives, criteria for and assessment of alternatives, recommended solution, and implementation of the authorized solution through the relevant program process. Maintain constant awareness of program objectives, plans, schedules, upcoming events, risks, issues, changes and change-control, and current performance status through EVMS processes. Maintain constant vigilance in all day-to-day activities to assure proactive management of risk, issues, and changes. BS in Engineering is required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Engineering is required; advanced degree and formal training in
Project Management preferred.
PMP certification is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required, presentation skills and be able to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management.
Ten years experience in Program Manager with aerospace/defense programs in a
progressively increasing responsible leadership positions is required.
