Description:
This position requires professional technical intelligence data gathering and analysis skills and abilities to manage, develop, implement, and administer intelligence analysis programs and policies for customer applications. Typical titles may include Intelligence Analyst; Imagery, Data Analyst; Reconnaissance Officer; Production, Interrogation, Threat Specialist; Forensics Specialist; Asset Analyst; etc.
With technical latitude, positions at this level perform work project segments in support of customer programs and have a direct impact on L 3 GS & ES business goals and objectives. They require specialized knowledge of their particular functional discipline and working knowledge of customer relationship management typically received through a four-year degree, or equivalent experience, and / or 5-9 years of related experience.
Translate Arabic documents into American English for U.S. Special Operations Command. Produce well-written and accurate translations, summaries, and reports in American English. Produce summaries and reports of work accomplished.
Must have at least a level 3 capability in reading and listening as described by the Interagency Language Roundtable (DLPT). Must possess fluency or very near-fluency/native competency in Arabic. Specifically, must have an excellent command of the grammar, constructions, and syntax of the foreign language. Must be abreast of idioms, colloquialisms, and slang and have an understanding of the cultural, social, and political environment in which the language is used. Must be bilingual to the extent that he/she can produce well-written and accurate gists, summaries, translations, and reports in American English.
Desired qualifications: Bachelors Degree. Experience as military linguist or intelligence analyst. Proficient in use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
