Job Description:
SECRET CLEARANCE and recent SENIOR LEVEL TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Description:
Works as consulting team member on base closure program implementation, enhancement, integration or project audits. Serves as a Transportation Specialist acting as a coordinator pertaining to technical documentation advisory services governing MNC-I Responsible Drawdown from the Iraq Theater of operation. Perform work related to cargo documentation system, including development/dissemination of policies/procedures for documenting international cargo movements. Qualified on HAZDECs container inspections, agriculture in accordance with 49 CFR, TM 38-250 and International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG). Can accurately estimate Container Handling Equipment (CHE)/Material Handling Equipment (MHE) requirements. Analyze cargo documentation procedures with respect to cost effectiveness and efficiency, with primary attention to the improvement of performance. Ability to analyze government requirements and procedures with emphasis on analyzing, developing and implementing improved methodologies, best business practices , lessons learned, and procedures/processes and systems that will provide beneficial recommendations to the government. Develop comprehensive narrative reports
Required Skills:
Be licensed and able to operate a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) or other non-commercial vehicles. Be able to wear body armor and a Kevlar helmet and chemical warfare gear. Capable and willing to travel throughout the country of Iraq and able to live and work, at times, in austere or potentially hostile environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
6 recent years in US Army Transportation Management and working knowledge of the US ARMY Regs. and MIL STDs
Clearance Required Secret
