Job Description:
The Manager Information Assurance (IA) is responsible for:
Development of cost effective and technically compliant, strategic and tactical plans for new/modified IA architectures and computer security
Coordination of the implementation of IA architectures and technologies
Establishment and maintenance of company-wide matrix of architectures, components, and standard products currently deployed on all existing and previously deployed training devices as applied to the IA/security field
Coordination of the development of technology insertion plans to upgrade existing architectures or products to meet future IA needs
Successful deployment of technologies, IA architectures, and products into programs
Conducting product demonstrations
Ensuring that processes and procedures for analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the programs training system are cost effective while meeting customer needs as applied to the IA/security field
Creation or maintenance of program IA documentation in support of program documentation deliverables, or follow on development efforts
Requirements:
5-8 years experience providing IA guidance at the Enterprise level down to training systems applications as applied to the IA/security field
Must be able to assess and recommend an architecture implementation supporting recent Government requirements for IA (architecture and computer security)
Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences that include peers, management, and customers
Must have multi-program knowledge base to be able to search for and extract the best technologies and IA architectures utilized throughout the training system or simulation industry
Must be able to provide a balanced IA architecture optimizing the hardware, software, logistics, and Instructional System Design (ISD) components to deliver the most cost effective solution meeting all customer requirements
Must be familiar with Design to Cost development strategies
Must have the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment while managing customer expectations
Must have a strong working knowledge of JAFAN security requirements and be able to develop and maintain a JAFAN level formal System Security program
Must have a working knowledge of JAFAN level certification and accreditation documentation, plans and procedures, plus have a working knowledge of JAFAN level IA control analysis, implementation, and testing
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Thorough knowledge of DoD Acquisition and IA policy and experience in IA policy development and implementation
Secret clearance
