Essential Functions/Responsibilities The Outage Manager will be responsible for the following:
Lead the Rapid Transformation TM implementation of the Outage Management Work Process for the Mt.Vernon site.
Overall responsibility for the planning and safe execution of the outages for the four major operating facilities on site.
Develop line of sight to extending the site outage interval to 4 yrs. Provide expertise and execute needed actions to achieve that interval.
Drive all elements and phases of the Outage process to the lowest possible cost for the business.
Collaborate with other SABIC-IP production facilities, share and translate best practices from other sites. Provide expertise and support to the other site Outage Management processes.
Qualifications/Requirements BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering
Minimum 5 yrs of Outage Management, Project Management, and/or Reliability Engineering experience.

In depth understanding and ability to apply Reliability methodologies (RCM, RBI, RCA, APT tools)
In depth understanding of unit operations, process equipment and technology.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to motivate and influence others towards a shared objective
