Qualifications
Part Time: 24 hours per week
Mon-Fri Day Shift
Minimum Education Requirements:
Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling
Minimum Experience Requirements:
Previous Psychiatric Social Work or Counseling experience required with at least one year of previous tutoring or teaching experience
Minimum Licensure/Certification:
Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
Prefer a Texas Teaching Certificate.
Duties
1. Delivers direct classroom teaching in groups and during one-to-ones with patients in the classroom
2. Anticipates behavioral problems based on patient's condition and or diagnosis
3. Seeks out resources
4. Engages others in assisting their peers with assignments
5. Assists adolescent patients with adaptive learning methods, team work, and adaptive peer integration
6. Perform other duties as assigned
