Summary:
Performs and supervises designers producing wiring drawings, estimating staffing requirements and work-hours estimates.
Responsibilities:
Applicant must be familiar with NEC and IEEE standards. Experience in power plant design is required. Nuclear experience is preferred. the Applicant should have familiarity with wiring design including cable management data bases. Alternatively, applicant should be capable of locating equipment in a 3D environment as well as design of raceways. Must be familiar with wiring practices. Must understand interdiscipline interfaces. Must be capable of directing activities of other designers. Experience required 10-15 years.
Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:
Is a team leader; may or may not formally supervise others. Minimum of eight to ten years of experience in an engineering environment. Expert in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with SPEL a plus. Attention to detail. Strong proofreading and editing. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
