Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for training Investigators and Clinical Investigators. Training includes and is not limited to interpretation and review of medical records, CPT codes, Reimbursement policies (for UHC, PSMG, and external clients), medical policies, and utilization of our case tracking system and applications. Each month the Clinical Trainer/QA will review a percentage of each Investigator and Clinical Investigator's (approx. 50 people) cases for accuracy. Through quality trending, identify areas for training and develop new or revised training modules that address these areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Assist with Clinical analysis and feedback of suspected fraud and waste algorithms
* Respond to internal and external customer requests for training and develop training modules, web-ex presentations, or class room instruction to full fill these requests
* Provide input and expertise in the development of new products and/or processes

* 2 year of experience as a RN with classroom training experience or m

* 2 year of experienceust be RHIT or RHIA certified through AHIMA with classroom experience
* Must be familiar with working with claim payment platforms
* Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience is required
* Undergraduate degree is required

Assets:
* Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations is preferred
* Auditing experience would be a plus
* CPT Coding knowledge would be a plus
* Web-ex or computer based training experience is a plus
