Bill Warren, Executive Director
Bill, a former corporate human resource executive with Rockwell International, is widely recognized as the founder of online recruiting. In August, 1992, he founded Online Career Center (OCC), the first employment site on the Internet. He remained president of OCC after it was sold to TMP Worldwide (now Monster Worldwide) in December 1995. OCC was renamed Monster.com and he was named president in December 1998. Bill is a recipient of Employment Management Association’s (EMA) prestigious Pericles Pro Meritus Award, an honor presented by EMA in recognition of being the founder of online recruiting.

Daniel L. Jordan, Chief Counsel
Dan, the attorney who helped incorporate Online Career Center (OCC) in 1992, has over 15 years experience in the online recruiting industry with OCC, Monster and DirectEmployers Association. He was promoted to Chief Counsel of DirectEmployers Association in May, 2003.

Richard Wehrle, VP – Analytics and Product Development
Rick joined DirectEmployers Association in July 2008 as Vice President – Product Development after spending fourteen years with Online Career Center (OCC) and Monster. He put OCC, the first employment site on the Internet, online in April, 1993. He is a graduate of Purdue University.

Jason Sole, Interaction Designer
Jason joined DirectEmployers Association in April, 2009 from ChaCha Search, Inc. where he worked the previous year. Prior to ChaCha Search, he was a Web Content Engineer, and Senior User Interface Designer during a five-year stint at Sigma Micro in Indianapolis. Jason’s primary responsibilities include the design and implementation of new products and services. He has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Purdue University’s College of Technology where his study emphasis was Interactive Multimedia Development.

Jolene Jefferies, SPHR, VP – Government Relations
With 22+ years of HR experience in multiple industries, Jolene was previously the Director of Employment for Union Pacific Railroad for 10 years. She has expert-level experience in all facets of recruiting and has developed partnerships with the military, state workforce agencies, and education to address workforce shortages. Jolene is the recipient of several awards for her innovative recruiting strategies and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Nancy started her Recruitment/Human Resources career in 1998. She has worked with hundreds of companies as a recruitment consultant over the past 8 years and previously served as Vice President of Professional Development for HRACI, the local Indianapolis chapter of SHRM. Melissa Dennis, Manager – Marketing
Lis has her B.A. in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Marketing from Anderson University and has worked in the marketing industry since 2001. She has extensive experience in healthcare and most recently worked in the recruitment marketing field at one of the leading recruitment ad agencies. As Marketing Manager, she establishes the marketing presence of the Association and all of our products and services.

Hal Cooper, VP – Technology/CTO
Hal is a veteran in the online recruiting industry with Monster and DirectEmployers Association, which includes the JobCentral, DirectEmployers employment search engine and NACElink services. He is responsible for all technology and the overall design and functionality of DirectEmployers Association’s online services.
Chris Dalzell, Software Developer
Chris, a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, joined DirectEmployers Association in March 2002. He is a developer for the DirectEmployers search engine and JobCentral National Labor Exchange.
Kyle Totten, Software Developer
Kyle joined DirectEmployers and JobCentral National Labor Exchange as a Software Developer in October 2007. He graduated from Purdue University’s School of Technology with a degree in Computer Graphics Technology.
Chris Erazmus, Software Developer
Chris joined DirectEmployers and JobCentral National Labor Exchange as a Software Developer in February 2008. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Science with an Information Systems and Operations Management option from Ball State University in 2006.
