Bill, a former corporate human resource executive with Rockwell International, is widely recognized as the founder of online recruiting. In August, 1992, he founded Online Career Center (OCC), the first employment site on the Internet. He remained president of OCC after it was sold to TMP Worldwide (now Monster Worldwide) in December 1995. OCC was renamed Monster.com and he was named president in December 1998. Bill is a recipient of Employment Management Association’s (EMA) prestigious Pericles Pro Meritus Award, an honor presented by EMA in recognition of being the founder of online recruiting.

Dan, the attorney who helped incorporate Online Career Center (OCC) in 1992, has over 15 years experience in the online recruiting industry with OCC, Monster and DirectEmployers Association. He was promoted to Chief Counsel of DirectEmployers Association in May, 2003.

Donna joined DirectEmployers Association in administrative support services in May, 2008. Donna previously worked eighteen years in the telecommunications industry.

Rick joined DirectEmployers Association in July 2008 as Vice President – Product Development after spending fourteen years with Online Career Center (OCC) and Monster. He put OCC, the first employment site on the Internet, online in April, 1993. He is a graduate of Purdue University.

Jason joined DirectEmployers Association in April, 2009 from ChaCha Search, Inc. where he worked the previous year. Prior to ChaCha Search, he was a Web Content Engineer, and Senior User Interface Designer during a five-year stint at Sigma Micro in Indianapolis. Jason’s primary responsibilities include the design and implementation of new products and services. He has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Purdue University’s College of Technology where his study emphasis was Interactive Multimedia Development.

With 22+ years of HR experience in multiple industries, Jolene was previously the Director of Employment for Union Pacific Railroad for 10 years. She has expert-level experience in all facets of recruiting and has developed partnerships with the military, state workforce agencies, and education to address workforce shortages. Jolene is the recipient of several awards for her innovative recruiting strategies and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Christy joined DirectEmployers Association and JobCentral National Labor Exchange in August, 2007 after almost 10 years in Customer Service with Online Career Center (OCC) and Monster.

Chad started his career in the online recruiting industry with Online Career Center (OCC) in 1998. His team is responsible for many aspects of the Association which includes leading National Labor Exchange efforts, VetCentral compliance, developing alliances, partnerships and innovative technologies and business opportunities.

Nancy started her Recruitment/Human Resources career in 1998. She has worked with hundreds of companies as a recruitment consultant over the past 8 years and previously served as Vice President of Professional Development for HRACI, the local Indianapolis chapter of SHRM. Nancy joined DirectEmployers Association, Inc. in March, 2006.

Lis has her B.A. in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Marketing from Anderson University and has worked in the marketing industry since 2001. She has extensive experience in healthcare and most recently worked in the recruitment marketing field at one of the leading recruitment ad agencies. As Marketing Manager, she establishes the marketing presence of the Association and all of our products and services.

Tammy joined DirectEmployers Association as Business Development Coordinator in June, 2008. She has extensive experience in the online recruiting industry with Online Career Center (OCC) and Monster.

Amanda joined DirectEmployers and JobCentral National Labor Exchange in October 2007. She is a graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design. She is responsible for the overall layout, design and maintenance of all visual communications including company web sites and marketing materials.

Tom joined Online Career Center in January, 1997 and has 10+ years of online recruiting experience with OCC and Monster. He was promoted to VP-Membership Development for DirectEmployers Association in June, 2004 and is responsible for managing the Association’s membership development and retention programs.

Shannon joined DirectEmployers in March, 2006. He has three years recruiting experience with a consulting group and over five years experience in the online recruiting industry with Monster. A 1997 Graduate of Anderson University, Shannon’s main focus is membership development and retention.

Brad joined DirectEmployers Association and JobCentral National Labor Exchange in September 2007. He is a graduate of Anderson University and has an extensive sales management background including two and one half years with Monster.

Dee Anne joined DirectEmployers Association in November 2007 with responsibility for membership development and retention in her assigned region. She is a graduate of Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI) and has a Human Resource Certificate from Purdue University.

Patti, with over 10 years of member service experience, started her career with Online Career Center (OCC). She held customer service management positions both with OCC and Monster before joining DirectEmployers Association.

Brian joined DirectEmployers Association as a Member Services Assistant in March, 2004. He has extensive experience in the hospitality and online recruiting industries.

Hal is a veteran in the online recruiting industry with Monster and DirectEmployers Association, which includes the JobCentral, DirectEmployers employment search engine and NACElink services. He is responsible for all technology and the overall design and functionality of DirectEmployers Association’s online services.

Chris, a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, joined DirectEmployers Association in March 2002. He is a developer for the DirectEmployers search engine and JobCentral National Labor Exchange.

Kyle joined DirectEmployers and JobCentral National Labor Exchange as a Software Developer in October 2007. He graduated from Purdue University’s School of Technology with a degree in Computer Graphics Technology.

Chris joined DirectEmployers and JobCentral National Labor Exchange as a Software Developer in February 2008. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Science with an Information Systems and Operations Management option from Ball State University in 2006.

John joined DirectEmployers Association as a Software Developer in July, 2008.  He currently attends Purdue University School of Engineering and Technology at Indianapolis working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.

Lou joined DirectEmployers Association in October 2007 as Network Administrator. He is a 1979 graduate of Indiana University who joined DirectEmployers after ten years of service with Lucent Technologies.

Julie joined DirectEmployers Association in September 2007. She has extensive experience in Member Services with both Online Career Center (OCC) and Monster. As QA Supervisor, she is responsible for web site auditing and technical review reporting to the CTO.
