Job Description
NFIB is currently seeking candidates for a Membership Representative position in your area. NFIB (National Federation of Independent Business) is the nation’s largest small business advocacy group. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization founded in 1943, NFIB represents the consensus views of its members in Washington and all 50 state capitals.
As a Membership Representative, your responsibility would be to increase overall membership and revenue within a designated territory through in-person cold calling and by utilizing a success proven sales presentation. Membership Representatives begin their employment with a four week training salary transitioning into an unlimited straight commission income opportunity with a very lucrative commission structure consisting of commissioned new sales, renewal commissions, monthly supplements, quarterly bonuses and residuals. NFIB also offers an extensive benefits package and provides continual training, participation in a mentoring program and the opportunity of a sales management career path.
Qualified candidates should possess Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer sales experience with an emphasis on cold call prospecting and one time close. Must be able to thrive in a quota based, performance driven, high effort environment with a strong work ethic and ability to self manage. Must possess no more than three (3) moving violations or a DUI within the last three (3) years.
