Requirements	We are currently seeking an Intern/Co-op to work as an assistant integrator for Rail Road Systems with an exciting project in our field office in Newark, New Jersey. Responsibilities include working with The System Integrator who is required to interface and coordinate with all engineering disciplines in determining optimum constructability and approach for the complex rail tunnel design. Preferred qualifications: *Training and/or experience in Information Technologies, CADD design and/or construction industry. Understanding of civil, architectural and engineering drawings. Areas in which this expertise is preferable would be: oCommunications protocols, network cabling oProcess piping or electrical conduit layout *Ability to work in a Team environment - Ability to coordinate design elements for space proofing of equipment and conduit routing and with other disciplines to ensure that proper coordination is achieved *Experience with design drawings (CAD, VISIO format) *Possess interpretative skills to assist in documenting potential problems and possible change management to avoid special interferences of design elements and customer requirements *Hard working, fast paced, flexible, imaginative and determined to resolve assist in open issues and possible conflicts of preference or approach by designers *Ability to work on individual tasks and coordination of individual deliverables in order to maintain department and project schedule *Good verbal and written communication skills *CADD, Microstation and VISIO experience would be considered a plus.
