POSITION:
Yield Enhancement Engineer
REPORTING TO:
Director of Engineering
LOCATION:
Westborough, MA
SHIFT:
Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Primary responsibility will be in yield enhancement of our Integrated Circuit foundry and Liquid Crystal display processes and failure analysis of our display panels. Responsibilities include:
• Continuous process and yield improvement:
o Identify and/or quantify root causes for yield loss.
o Participate in process enhancement projects.
o Recommendations for yield/process enhancement.
• Perform failure analysis on defective displays returned from internal and external customers.
• Verify defect root causes.
• Establish and perform
Qualification/Reliability testing for all new design releases.
Qualified candidate must have strong knowledge of semiconductor and/or liquid crystal display fabrication processes, exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in team with people with diverse technical background, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS (minimal requirements):
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in IC and/or LC yield enhancement
and/or failure analysis experience preferred
